Travel Terms & Conditions

1. Plan Your Trip

Welcome to JoyVoyage Travel. These Terms & Conditions outline your use of the JoyVoyage Travel LLC website and our travel booking services, including our cancellation policies and the travel supplier terms. By using our website or requesting our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Our Travel Services

JoyVoyage Travel LLC offers a range of travel booking services, including travel planning, vacation consultation, itinerary planning, and travel booking. We coordinate travel products and services from various travel suppliers, such as airlines, cruise lines, hotels, resorts, tour operators, rental car companies, and travel insurance providers, all while keeping cancellation policies in mind to ensure a smooth experience.

Our primary role is to support you in researching, planning, coordinating, and booking your travel arrangements. It’s important to note that the actual travel services are provided by independent third-party travel suppliers, and we always strive to inform you about their terms to enhance your travel experience.

3. Supplier Terms

When you book travel through JoyVoyage Travel LLC, your reservation is also subject to the terms, conditions, policies, and restrictions of the applicable travel supplier. These travel supplier terms may include rules regarding: deposits and final payments, cancellation policies, changes and modifications, travel documents, baggage, check-in requirements, identification and passport requirements, health or entry requirements, resort or hotel policies, cruise line policies, airline policies, and any supplier-imposed fees. It is your responsibility to review and understand the applicable supplier's terms, including their cancellation policies, before completing your purchase.

4. Pricing & Payments

Travel prices are subject to change until a reservation has ben confirmed and the required payment has been received by the applicable travel supplier. Quoted prices may fluctuate due to availability, supplier pricing, taxes, government fees, fuel surcharges, exchange rates, or other factors outside our control. Any required deposits, payments, or fees associated with the travel booking services will be disclosed before you authorize the transaction. Once a reservation is made, the supplier's payment and cancellation policies will apply.

5. Changes, Cancellations, Refunds & Payment disputes

5-A.  Changes & Cancellations

Cancellation policies and change fees are determined by the applicable travel supplier and may vary significantly depending on the reservation. JoyVoyage Travel LLC will assist you with eligible changes or cancellations whenever possible; however, we cannot override the travel supplier terms or guarantee a refund.

If you need to change or cancel a trip, you should contact JoyVoyage Travel LLC as soon as possible. Please be aware that any applicable supplier cancellation penalties, change fees, nonrefundable amounts, or other charges remain the responsibility of the traveler.

5-B.  Refunds, Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We want every client to feel comfortable and confident when booking travel with JoyVoyage Travel. If you have a question, concern, or dispute regarding a charge, please contact us directly at trips@joyvoyagetravel.com first. We ask that you give us a reasonable opportunity to review the situation and work toward a resolution before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your credit card company or bank.

By submitting a deposit or payment, you authorize JoyVoyage Travel to process the payment for the travel arrangements, services, and fees that you have approved and that are outlined in your booking confirmation or applicable terms.

Clients agree not to initiate a chargeback for travel services that were properly authorized, booked, or provided, or for non-refundable deposits, fees, or penalties that were clearly disclosed and agreed to at the time of booking.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is submitted, JoyVoyage Travel reserves the right to provide the card issuer, bank, travel supplier, or payment processor with relevant documentation needed to respond to the dispute. This may include booking confirmations, payment records, invoices, communications, cancellation policies, and applicable terms and conditions.

If a chargeback results in the reversal of a valid payment, JoyVoyage Travel reserves the right, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to seek recovery of amounts that were improperly reversed, along with any applicable fees or costs resulting from the dispute.

JoyVoyage Travel may also suspend or cancel pending or future travel arrangements associated with an unresolved payment dispute, subject to applicable supplier policies and the terms of the client's booking.

Nothing in these terms limits your right to dispute a charge resulting from unauthorized use of your payment method or an actual billing error by JoyVoyage Travel.

6. Travel Docs & Entry

Travelers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required travel documents. Depending on your destination, these may include passports, visas, identification, vaccination records, entry permits, or other documentation. It's important to note that requirements can change without notice, so travelers should verify current requirements with the appropriate government authorities and travel suppliers before departure. Additionally, when using travel booking services, it's vital to be aware of cancellation policies and travel supplier terms that may affect your journey. JoyVoyage Travel LLC may provide information to assist with travel preparation, but travelers remain responsible for ensuring that their documents and eligibility meet applicable requirements.

7. Travel Insurance

JoyVoyage Travel LLC strongly recommends considering travel insurance that is appropriate for your trip, especially in light of potential cancellation policies. Travel insurance may provide protection against certain unexpected circumstances, depending on the policy purchased and the travel supplier terms outlined within. Insurance coverage varies by provider and policy, and JoyVoyage Travel LLC does not determine whether a particular claim will be covered. Travelers are responsible for reviewing the policy terms, exclusions, limitations, and requirements before purchasing insurance to ensure they are adequately protected.

8. Travel Disruptions

Travel plans can be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including weather, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, strikes, government actions, mechanical problems, pandemics, security events, or other unforeseen circumstances. Airlines, cruise lines, hotels, tour operators, and other suppliers often have specific cancellation policies and travel supplier terms that may lead to changes in schedules, itineraries, accommodations, services, or other arrangements. JoyVoyage Travel LLC will make reasonable efforts to assist travelers when such situations occur, but we cannot guarantee that travel arrangements will operate exactly as originally planned.

9. Traveler Responsibilities

Travelers are responsible for providing accurate information necessary to make their reservations through our travel booking services. This may include names, dates of birth, contact information, passport information, travel preferences, and other booking details. It’s essential for travelers to carefully review all reservation information and notify JoyVoyage Travel LLC of any errors as soon as possible, particularly since cancellation policies can vary. Additionally, travelers must comply with applicable laws, travel supplier terms, destination requirements, and travel restrictions.

10. Third-Party Vendors

JoyVoyage Travel LLC does not own, operate, or control the airlines, cruise lines, hotels, resorts, transportation companies, tour operators, or other travel suppliers used to provide your vacation. As such, we are not responsible for the acts, omissions, errors, delays, cancellations, schedule changes, injuries,  losses, damages, or failures of third-party travel suppliers, including their cancellation policies and other travel supplier terms. Our primary responsibility is to offer travel booking services and assist with your travel planning while communicating relevant information to you when reasonably available.

11. Website Info

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information on our website. However, travel information, prices, availability, schedules, cancellation policies, and requirements from our travel booking services can change. Please note that the content on our website is intended for general informational purposes and does not guarantee the availability, price, or suitability of any travel product or service, as they are subject to the specific terms of each travel supplier.

12. Liability Limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JoyVoyage Travel LLC shall not be responsible for losses, damages, expenses, delays, injuries, cancellations, or other claims arising from the acts or omissions of third-party travel suppliers or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. It is important to review the cancellation policies of your travel booking services as they may vary. Additionally, nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law, including those outlined in travel supplier terms.
